The naked belt is meant to be worn as shown in the image below. Just pass the rounded end through your belt loops, and put the desired tension when latching it together.
You can then either keep the remaining excess material tucked behind the belt, or cut it off for a custom fit as shown below.
Accessorize and customize as you see fit as often as you want.
Old Belt Setup
If you have the old version of the belt, the setup process is shown below.
Recommended starting position "X" = Waist measurement x 0.88. This should get you close to the optimal fit.
